Being a professional dog walker is already a fun and rewarding career, but a dog walking service in Saratoga Springs, upstate New York, has found a way to make it even more exciting—for both themselves and their furry clients—by taking stunning group photos.
Tim Pink and his assistant, Erin Prevost, walk around 50 dogs each week. While there are no breed restrictions, walking groups are organized based on size. Their popular “Mid-Day Pack Walk Program” at Saratoga Dog Walkers features these frequently photographed outings.
“The program taps into the dogs’ natural instincts to travel as a pack—something most pets rarely get to experience. By walking together regularly, we’re fostering a large community of well-behaved dogs in the neighborhood,” Pink explains.
Before adding a new dog to the group, Pink first builds a bond with them. He carefully observes their behavior around other dogs and assesses their level of obedience training. Over time, he memorizes the names and unique traits of each dog.
Each walk lasts a minimum of 30 minutes, typically extending to around 45 minutes. At the end of the walk, every pup is returned home clean, free of any rain or dirt. The pack walks take place in all weather conditions, but on particularly bad days, each dog is given an individual bathroom break instead.
Saratoga Dog Walkers’ Instagram showcases their year-round adventures, keeping their followers entertained with new locations and creative photo breaks. While it’s hard to imagine a dog-themed account ever being dull, this one always finds ways to stay fresh and engaging.
Some of the best shots feature a particularly attention-seeking pup in the foreground, almost as if they were taking a selfie with their canine friends. These charming group photos have made Saratoga Dog Walkers a beloved staple in the community and online.
