Since Bernedoodles are a mixed breed, their appearance can vary widely. Two Bernedoodles standing side by side might not look alike at all, making it difficult to recognize them as the same crossbreed.
Their height and weight, however, are distinctive features.
Bernedoodles typically reach their full height of around 23 to 29 inches between 12 to 14 months of age. Around the same time, they achieve their maximum weight, which ranges from 50 to 90 lbs.
Despite their affectionate nature, Bernedoodles are not ideal guard dogs.
They are naturally friendly and not known for making loud noises. As a result, they are unlikely to bark if they see a stranger—whether it’s a human or another dog. In fact, they might even befriend an intruder, so that’s something to keep in mind!
