His owner, Jesus Hueche, fell six feet onto the concrete sidewalk while pruning a tree outside his home on Saturday. Hueche hit his head and lost consciousness, but his loyal companion remained right by his side until help arrived.
As paramedics placed a neck brace on Hueche, Tony continued to cling to him, as if offering comfort and encouragement. When his owner regained consciousness, the dog gently reassured him with affectionate pats, ensuring he felt safe and cared for.
Tony even attempted to climb into the ambulance, unwilling to be separated from his owner. Fortunately, Hueche’s injuries were not severe, and the two were soon reunited.
Now recovering well, Hueche shared his love for his devoted pet: “One day, we found him on the street, adopted him, gave him love and food, and he became part of our family. To me, he’s like a son.” It’s clear the bond between them is strong, and the love is mutual.
