Heartbroken Husky Mourns at Owner’s Grave, Unable to Stop Crying

A grieving dog struggles to cope with the loss of its beloved owner, sobbing at the grave in sorrow. This heartbreaking moment showcases the deep emotional bond that dogs form with their humans.

Wiley, a devoted wolf-dog, had been inseparable from his late owner, Gladys, making it difficult for him to understand that she was gone.

A touching video captures the sorrowful canine lying on Gladys’ gravestone, wailing uncontrollably in grief.

The emotional footage, which has moved thousands of viewers, shows Wiley sobbing and trembling while surrounded by family members who try to comfort him.

In one poignant moment, a family member gently reaches out to soothe Wiley, saying, “We miss her too.”

Since its upload to YouTube by user SarahandtheWolves, the video has amassed over 9,174,611 views, touching hearts worldwide.

According to the YouTube account SarahandtheWolves, Wiley is one of the military wolf-dogs trained to assist veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) after returning from combat.

These wolf-dogs provide rehabilitation and care to veterans through the Lockwood Animal Rescue Center (LARC), which specializes in the care of wolf-dogs and horses.

To address concerns about Wiley’s health, the video’s uploader provided reassurance.

“I’m not a vet, so I can’t say if he’s reverse sneezing like some of you have suggested,” SarahandtheWolves explained.

“I can assure you that he has never done this before and hasn’t done it since. I may be attributing human emotions to his actions, but this is how I choose to cope with loss…”

“For those who worry he’s unwell, I can confirm he is not. The sanctuary has a veterinarian on-site, and Wiley is doing great.”
