Puppy With a Tail on His Face Is Truly One of a Kind

Mac’s Mission, an animal rescue based in Jackson, Missouri, recently discovered a puppy and an older dog wandering alone in the cold.

But this isn’t just any ordinary puppy—he has a unique feature that sets him apart. A small “tail” appears to be growing from his forehead, something the rescuers had never seen before. While the extra tail doesn’t wag like a normal one, it certainly makes him special.

Because of its resemblance to a unicorn’s horn, the rescuers decided to name him Narwhal, “the little magical furry unicorn.”

Narwhal has a foot injury that requires medical attention. The rescue plans to take him to the vet for X-rays and a check-up on his unusual facial tail.

According to the rescue team, Narwhal is a happy, playful puppy who is doing well. Thanks to their efforts, he no longer has to endure the freezing cold.

Mac’s Mission specializes in rescuing homeless dogs and animals with urgent medical needs or disabilities that might otherwise lead to euthanasia.

While they primarily focus on Pit Bulls, they welcome all breeds, especially those with special needs or no chance of survival due to a lack of resources in other shelters and rescues.
